WEPLAY · WINDOWS x64 · 1.11.0
Install once.
Open your session.
Setup places the complete VST3 in the system folder used by Ableton Live and FL Studio. If selected, it also copies the Ableton link into your User Library. Keep your DAW closed during installation.
1 · Run setup
- Open WEPLAY-Vintage-Rack-1.11.0-Windows-Setup.exe and allow the normal Windows administrator prompt.
- Keep Ableton Live key/scale link checked if you use Live. Review the detected User Library folder. A custom library can be selected.
- Complete installation, then open your DAW.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\WEPLAY Vintage Rack.vst3
The installer includes an uninstaller and backs up an existing VST3 and Ableton link before replacing them.
2 · Ableton Live
- Open Settings → Plug-Ins. Turn on Use VST3 Plug-In System Folders and click Rescan.
- Find WEPLAY Vintage Rack under Plug-Ins / VST3 and drag it onto an audio track.
- For the Send buttons, open Settings → Link, Tempo & MIDI. Choose V_KEY_Link in an unused Control Surface row. Its MIDI Input and Output can be None. Restart Live if the new script is not listed.
- Place Waves Tune Real-Time or Auto-Tune in the same rack as WEPLAY. With no rack, keep them on the same track. Expose the target's Key and Scale with Live's Configure control.
- Play the audio and press LISTEN. Once a major/minor key is verified, press the corresponding Send button and read the status line. The chain icon checks the bridge connection.
Copying the script is automatic. Selecting its Control Surface row and running the DAW scan are one-time steps inside Live.

3 · FL Studio
- Open Options → Manage plugins, then choose Find installed plugins.
- Open the Mixer and choose an empty effect slot → More plugins.
- Select WEPLAY Vintage Rack. Star it in Plugin Manager to keep it in your list.
FL Studio loads the same installed VST3. No additional FL link script is needed to use the effect. Cross-plug-in Send in this release uses the included Ableton bridge.

4 · First audio check
- Play your vocal or instrument on the track containing WEPLAY. The live display and input lights should respond.
- Use the metal ON/OFF lever beside the compressor. Set Peak Reduction to zero and turn Gain up a little to hear makeup gain. Increase Peak Reduction to test compression; the VU indicates reduction.
- The bottom COMP / LIMIT lever changes the mode and enables the compressor. Click it, or drag up for LIMIT and down for COMP.
- Use the metal ON/OFF lever above Speed to enable pitch correction. Choose a known Root and Scale with LOCK, or wait for a verified Listen result. Adjust Speed, Humanize and Mix. The red particle rings move and follow the settings.
A lone sustained note can establish a note without proving a scale. If the result is uncertain, choose the musical key manually rather than applying an unverified estimate.
5 · Trial and authorization
Click the status bar below the WEPLAY logo. Copy the request code, obtain your signed key from WEPLAY, paste it into the authorization panel and press Activate.
The trial lasts seven days from first load, including a scan. Once expired, the plug-in mutes audio until activated. Existing valid activation survives this update.
